Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg
Sugarmet-500 are film coated tablets, each of which has 500mg metformin hydrochloride. This medication in the tablet form is directed to overweight patients for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. When diet and exercise cannot control adequate glycemic, this medicine is recommended. This medicine can be given in combination with insulin or other oral anti-diabetic agents. It works to reduce the diabetic complications. Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg is given along with insulin to children from 10 years of age and adolescents.
